Memories of Peggy

We first met Peggy about 25 years ago, long enough ago that we neither remember exactly how or exactly when.  Our eldest daughters became good friends and even though we left Halifax 18 years ago we have remained in touch.  Peggy was one of a kind and larger than life (and obvious larger than Michael).  We remember Peggy for her fondness of opera and also “not the opera” and, of course, her cello so generously lent to one of us when ours was “injured”. We can still see her surrounded by books.  She was an always generous and interesting friend and will be sorely missed.
